American Beautyberry

A loose, open deciduous shrub with mid-green leaves. Dense, lavender-pink flowers develop in late spring to early summer, followed by brilliant violet or white fruit. This shrub is a spectacular sight to behold when the fruit are at their best. Bears most prolifically in long, hot summers and if planted in groups. Thrives on neglect, but prefers fertile, well-drained soil.
