A group of fast growing evergreen shrubs popular for Texas landscapes. Some are used for hedges, others for screening and a few for small ornamental trees. Variegated and green leafed forms available. Wax leaf variety is popular for shaping into globes and pyramids. All tolerate poor soil and heat.
